Planning begins with programming. It is the ability to time your event.

Course Title: PRINCIPLES OF DESTINY (Lecture 11)

Planning involves four factors:

i. Programming

ii. Project

iii. People

iv. Price.

i. Programming

Joseph stepped into his destiny the day he met Pharaoh. Then he drew up a 14 years program. "Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.

"Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years. And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.

"And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine." Gen.41:33-36.

The son of Jacob was able to design fourteen years program, based on the dream given to the king. Pharaoh had the vision. But Joseph interpreted it and designed a program. You may have the vision like Pharaoh without knowing the meaning.

But you should be wise enough to look for someone who is wiser than you to interpret the dream for you. Several years ago, I fell into a trance. I found myself in a popular Church at Ibadan, sitting outside.

I just saw Bishop David Oyedepo coming towards the Church. I stood up and went to welcome him. He asked for the pastor of the Church. I told him that he went out. He decided to wait for him.

Out of courtesy, I stayed with him till man of God would come. By the time he arrived, I had wanted to be going. But I had to stay so that he would not be left alone. It wasn't long the pastor came. Bishop stood up to meet him on the way. Where they met was not far from where I was sitting down. Therefore I could hear their conversation.

Bishop said God told him to come to Ibadan. But he didn't know why until he came. He then said, pointing to me, "I didn't know it is because of that man. Behold the man of God, in whom there is no guile."

He then called me to come. When I got there, he said he wanted to pray for me. He then laid his hands on my heels. That was the only thing I knew. By the time I was conscious, I was already on the ground. I stood up and the trance disappeared.

I had come across a man of God. I cherished his faith. I desired to have what he had. So I told my wife to lock me inside the room. And I told her not to open it until I said I have met with the Lord. I couldn't remember whether I had water with me, but no food.

It was in that room that I fell into trance. I called my wife that I had got what I was looking for. She came and opened the door for me. I ate and was refreshed. But I was worried. I know if they want to pray for a person, the normal thing is to lay hand on the head.

"Why was the hand not laid on my head but the heels? Does it mean that I have a serious demonic problem?" I was soliloquizing. I decided to meet with a man of God, who knew better than myself.

I narrated the trance but I didn't say I was the one who saw it. I only say someone saw Bishop David Oyedepo in a trance and explained everything that happened. The man screamed. I said sir, "anything the matter." He shouted "that is divine speed."

That is why I never worry about anything. I know all the people who have gone ahead of me, are only preparing ground for me. I will bye-pass all of them in Jesus' name. I am on a divine mission. I sleep and wake up every day with a sense of mission.

But the point is this: I may not have known the meaning of the trance, if the man of God did not interpret it for me. Perhaps you need a Joseph to interpret the vision God has given to you. Joseph did not only interpreted the dream, he also drew a 14 years plan for implementation.
