PRINCIPLES OF DESTINY PART 15B

You can decide your destiny by the choices you make.

There are vessels of wrath and there are vessels of mercy. "For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

"Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

"Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hast not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

"What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: and that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory." Rom.9:17-23.

There is a misconception about destiny. There is erroneous belief that some people have glorious destinies while others have bad destinies. I can tell you by the authority of the Scripture that the belief is wrong.

You can decide your destiny and I will show you from the Scripture. "Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?" Rom.9:21.

God is the Potter while we are the clay. He decides what He will do with our lives. But why does He make some people's destiny honourable and the others dishonourable? The answer is found in 2Timothy 2:21-22.

"But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."

When you repent from all your sin, God will make you to be a vessel unto honour. It is then you can receive a good dream from Him. From the revelation(s), you derive your vision and mission in life. We shall use the revelation of God to Noah to show us how to plan our vision and mission in life.
